TOKYO: A young Pakistani weightlifter has made history at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

According to reports, Talha Talib from Gujranwala also competed in the men’s 67kg category at the Tokyo Olympic 2020 on Sunday. Pakistani weightlifter Talha Talib lifted 150kg and then prostrated on stage to thank the Creator of the universe, God Almighty.

Talha Talib’s prostration video is going viral on social networking sites, with observers saying the young weightlifter’s success is huge after training at a local gym.

Gujranwala based weightlifter was neither professionally trained nor provided with the necessary basic facilities for weight lifting, but his success on the world biggest stage in Tokyo Olympic can only be attributed to his dedication and prayers.
