ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan can no longer bear the burden of Afghan refugees. 

If there was a civil war in Afghanistan, it could be a terrible situation. Talking about Afghanistan in an interview to a foreign broadcaster, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that if there was a civil war in Afghanistan, it would be terrible, while Afghanistan has no military solution and a political solution is the only problem in Afghanistan.  There is a solution.

  Pakistan can no longer bear the burden of Afghan refugees. He said that Afghanistan was seeking a military solution to the problem while the United States had failed to find a military solution to Afghanistan. 

After 9/11, with the support of the United States, there was an increase in suicide attacks in Pakistan. The Prime Minister said that the United States and NATO have lost the ability to negotiate while the Taliban are now advancing in Afghanistan but Pakistan wants peace in Afghanistan.

“Afghanistan should have a government that is acceptable to all parties, and if the election is delayed, the Taliban can be a part of it,” he said. Ashraf Ghani has not talked to the Taliban since he became president.  Have been able toImran Khan said that giving bases to the United States would make Pakistan a target of terrorism while the Taliban consider themselves worthy of power in Afghanistan.

Talking about the war on terror, he said that US aid is far less than our loss because our aid against terrorism has cost 150 billion. 

Pakistan lost 70,000 lives in the war on terror. The prime minister said Afghanistan had not provided evidence of sending 10,000 jihadists.  Pakistan is being blamed for the failure in Afghanistan, but we are partners in peace and will not be part of any conflict.

“If the situation in Afghanistan worsens, it will have a direct impact on Pakistan. If there is a civil war, more Afghan refugees will turn to Pakistan, but Pakistan can no longer bear the burden of refugees, and we have for a long time. 

They have been saying that Afghan refugees should be sent back. “I opposed the military solution to Afghanistan and I was considered anti-US and pro-Taliban on this statement,” Imran Khan said.  No Pakistani was involved in 9/11.
